Collection: Chess Photography

Chess Photography

This collection exists for a very simple reason:
we genuinely like these photographs.

We believe that chess deserves good visuals.
Posters, tournament announcements, club walls, educational materials — all of these can be thoughtful, well-made, and visually pleasing. Chess culture does not have to rely on generic or artificial imagery.

All photographs in this collection are real photographs, created without the use of generative artificial intelligence (AI). They show chess as it exists in the physical world: wood, texture, light, geometry, and presence.

At the moment, all photographs are created by Monika Burszczan.

The images offered here are sold at a symbolic price.
Not because they are worth little — but because we agreed with the artist to treat this collection as a form of promotion and cultural sharing. Good photographs should not stay hidden in a drawer.

This collection is not fixed.
Photographs may appear, change, or disappear over time. If something resonates with you, it might not be available forever.

For us, this collection is also a simple gesture of feedback.
If you like what we do at ChessboArt — this is a way of saying:
“I see it. Keep going.”

Each photograph is delivered as a digital product and is covered by a non-commercial usage license, suitable for personal use, chess clubs, schools, tournaments, and cultural promotion.
