Beyond the Board: Chess, Art, and the People Who Shape the Game
Just real encounters built over time, through shared respect for the game.
ChessboArt is not about positioning objects in front of cameras. It is about being present — quietly and consistently — within the chess community. From world-class tournaments to film sets and exhibitions, our boards appear where the game is played, studied, and understood.
Grandmasters, world champions, artists, and cultural institutions engage with our work not because of campaigns, but because of affinity. Chess is a demanding game. It recognises what is honest.
— Long-term presence within the international chess community

Aniko Kiss-Zliczyńska
Screenwriter and decorator
"The chess sets created by Mr. Fudalej were a beautiful and meaningful part of the set design in the historical film "W szachu. Ostatnia rozgrywka", set in the interwar and wartime periods. We used the boards in numerous scenes, including the chess Olympiad and critical scenes depicting simultaneous games in Argentina. The protagonists included Akiba Rubinstein and Dawid Przepiórka. Thank you for the meticulous and creative collaboration."
