We can add a custom engraving just for you — like a company logo or an anniversary message.
We also create resin inlays and wood combinations (intarsia).
Simply include your request in the order notes, or email us later with your order number.
We’ll stay in touch throughout the process.
Every piece is made, serviced, or prepared by hand — at a craftsman's pace, not an assembly line.
Exact timing for this specific item is detailed above. As a general guide: Ready to Ship pieces typically leave within 3–8 business days, and boards built through our Configurator take around 6 weeks to make. If you need something for a specific date, just email us — we'll always tell you honestly whether we can make it happen
We ship our chessboards and clocks worldwide from Poland, with extreme care. Our pieces have safely reached collectors in the USA, Singapore, Argentina, UK, Norway, Ukraine, and throughout Europe. Every order is packed securely to arrive at your doorstep in perfect condition.
Your exact shipping cost is calculated automatically at checkout — no need to contact us first. For a growing number of destinations, we've also taken care of import duties on our side, so what you see at checkout really is the final price, with nothing more to pay when your order arrives.
Where this isn't yet the case, standard customs rules may apply depending on your country — this is shown clearly before you pay, never as a surprise later. If you're ever unsure, or ordering something unusually large or heavy, just ask us — we're happy to check and confirm before you order.
We strive for 100% satisfaction.
As an art workshop, we want you to love your chess set. However, please note the distinction between our products:

What's included: the solid wood board in American walnut or ash, with two metal hangers. Pieces are optional: choose Board only, 32 solid wood pieces, or solid wood pieces with resin fills (classic black and white, or custom colours). Engraving is optional.
Turn chess into living design. ChessboArt800 is our flagship wall board: a precision-machined wooden board in a solid wood frame, made in our atelier in Poland. Choose American walnut (deep chocolate-brown, elegant grain) or ash (light, lively grain). Construction, magnet system and play feel are identical in both.

Wood — American walnut or ash.
Pieces — board only, or with 32 solid wood pieces in ash and American walnut. Add black and white epoxy resin fills, or fills in colours you choose.
Engraving — text or a logo on the front of the frame, and a dedication on the back. Combine them as you like.
At 800 × 800 mm (31.5 in) the board reads clearly from across the room. A hidden grid of 200 neodymium magnets in the board holds the pieces firmly on a vertical wall, in any position. With a full set of 32 pieces (two magnets in each) the total comes to 264 magnets. The finish is gallery-grade, and every board is checked by hand before it leaves the atelier.
Our solid wood magnetic pieces are made from ash and American walnut, finished with high-quality wax. Each piece holds two neodymium magnets and a felt base. For sharper contrast on the wall, add black and white epoxy resin fills, or choose your own colours for the light and dark pieces.
Engraving makes the board personal. Add a family name, a date or a motto on the front of the frame, a club or company logo (about 50 × 50 mm), or a longer message on the back. Choose an engraving option and tell us your wording: we will confirm it with you by email after your order. For a logo, we will ask you for the file after you order. For custom resin colours, tell us the colours for the light and dark pieces in the same way.
Two metal hangers on the back let you hang the board on wall hooks. Natural wood varies in shade and grain, so subtle differences are part of the charm.
Want a second look for the same board? Add our double-sided, engraved magnetic frame. It snaps onto the board without tools, with a different wood and engraving on each face. Sold separately.
Every ChessboArt800 is made to order and ships in about 6 weeks. For US orders, import duties are included in the checkout price, so there are no surprise fees at your door. Shipping for your country is calculated at checkout.
