Engraving for ChessboArt800 and ChessboINK — Text, Logo or Back Dedication

Turn a ChessboArt wall chess board into a one-of-a-kind piece. We laser engrave a short text, your logo or a personal dedication on the board, so it becomes a gift with a story, a trophy, or a signature of your club or company. Engraving is available for ChessboArt800 and ChessboINK.

Three ways to personalise your board

• Text on the front. A name, a date or a short motto, up to about 30 characters. The more characters, the smaller the letters, so shorter texts look best.
• Logo on the front. Your club, company or brand mark, up to 50 × 50 mm. Send the file as JPG or PDF.
• Dedication on the back. A personal message engraved on the back of the board, up to 80 characters. It is there for the person who owns the board, and stays out of sight on the wall.

You can combine them. Add this engraving to your cart once for each one you want on the same board, for example a text on the front and a dedication on the back.

Ideas for what to engrave

• A wedding or anniversary date with two names
• A name and year for a birthday, graduation or retirement gift
• A club or federation logo for a clubhouse or tournament hall
• A company logo for a corporate gift or an office wall
• A tournament name and year for a prize board
• A short message on the back, written by you for the person who receives the board

Good to know before you order

• Engraving is done before the final lacquering, so it is possible only on boards made to order. Ready, in-stock boards cannot be engraved.
• It adds about one week to the production time of the board.
• Order it together with the board. Not available for ChessClub.
• Engraved boards are made just for you and cannot be returned.

Questions

Can I engrave a board that is already in stock? No. We lacquer the board after engraving, so engraving is only possible on a board made to order.

How many characters fit? About 30 on the front and up to 80 on the back. With more characters the letters get smaller.

Which logo files do you accept? JPG or PDF, for a logo up to 50 × 50 mm.
