Is the pin handmade?
Not in the way our boards and clocks are. The pin itself is manufactured to our own design and specification — every detail, from the split-square emblem to the finish, is ours. Think of it as our design and our selection, brought to life by a manufacturing partner, rather than something shaped by hand in the workshop.
What's it made of?
An iron base with a nickel-plated finish, and a black-and-white semi-hard enamel emblem. The enamel sits with a subtle, gently domed surface rather than a perfectly flat one — a small detail that catches the light beautifully and gives the design a slightly three-dimensional feel.
Why a rubber clutch instead of a metal pin back?
We tested a few options, and rubber simply held better — it keeps the pin sitting flat and upright on fabric, instead of drifting or tilting over the day.
How is the pin packaged?
Right now, it ships without a dedicated box — just the pin itself, packed securely. If we introduce proper packaging down the line, we'll update this page.
