Add a Professional Chessboard to Any Solid Wood Surface
This is a specialized service for clients who own a piece of solid wood furniture and wish to permanently integrate a high-quality, professional chessboard into it. This is not limited to tables; we can work on shelves, cabinet tops, countertops, benches, or any flat solid wood element.
We combine modern precision with essential hand-craftsmanship to deliver a flawless, durable, and perfectly integrated playing surface.
The Standard Service (Starting at €280.00)
The base price of €250.00 is for our standard, tournament-ready configuration. This price assumes your surface is made of solid wood (like Oak, Iroko, Ash, or Beech) and is in good, flat condition.
The Standard Service includes:
- Square Size: 40 mm (FIDE-compliant standard)
- Technique: CNC-engraved squares and algebraic notation
- Fill: Epoxy Resin (Standard Colors: Pearl White or Black)
- Full Refinishing: The entire surface is meticulously hand-sanded and finished with a high-quality oil or lacquer to ensure a perfectly uniform and protected surface.
Our Process: Precision & Craft
This is a multi-step process that requires your item to be shipped to our workshop.
- Consultation: You send us photos of your item, its dimensions, and the species of wood (if known). We confirm it is a suitable candidate for the service.
- Quote: We confirm the final price. The base price applies to standard woods; softer or more demanding woods may require a custom quote.
- Shipping: You ship your item (or just the wood panel) to our workshop.
- The Work: We begin by precision-engraving the board using CNC. This is only the first step. The resin is then poured, cured, and the entire surface is meticulously hand-sanded. This manual process is essential, as solid wood reacts to machining and requires a craftsman's touch for a perfect, flat finish.
- Return: We professionally pack and ship your completed item back to you.
Customization is Possible
While we base our service on the 40 mm standard, we can accommodate almost any request. If you require a different square size (we have experience from 24mm to 76mm), custom epoxy colors, or complex inlays, please mention this in your inquiry.

You won’t reach a helpdesk
— you’ll reach me,
FM Michał Fudalej. I design and make each board by hand.
Yes, it’s a small brand. And every story has to start somewhere.
And honestly — I’d be truly glad even if you just say hi.
