Beyond the Board: Chess, Art, and the People Who Shape the Game
Gallery
ChessboArt boards have hung at the 2024 Chess Olympiad Expo, stood in the venue of the Grand Chess Tour in Warsaw, and carry the signatures of Magnus Carlsen and the Polgár sisters. Here is how they look in real rooms, and who has stood next to them.

Seen with ChessboArt
Moments from tournaments, festivals and film sets. They show where our boards have been, not who endorses them: we have no sponsorships.
The Polgár family
More of Judit, Sofia and Susan Polgár with ChessboArt boards: the 2024 Olympiad Expo in Budapest and the Global Chess Festival, where a giant clock we built stood beside the giant chess set.
FIDE, federations and trophies
Officials, captains, coaches and press officers who have met our boards, and the custom trophy made for the first Pia Cramling Cup.
Women's chess and the festival floor
Winners of the WR Women's Chess Tour in Saint-Tropez and of the women's category in Budapest, the closing-night blitz, and the people who sat down against Judit Polgár.
Poland's chess scene
Superliga Rapid, streamers and clubs: our boards as part of the room.
On screen and in the community
Boards on a film set, in a TV studio with Garry Kasparov, in a town hall exhibition, and in a portrait by David Llada.

Andrzej Kordowina-Tkacz
President for Saint-Tropez Sjakkklubb
